About KooKu
KooKu, founded in 2003, continues
to grow its reputation for providing innovative
solutions using wireless technologies. KooKu provides,
Hotspot and WiFi solutions, primarily through
a team of focussed Resellers to both the Public
Access and Enterprise Markets.
KooKu's solutions are focussed
at the market they are intended, and are extremely
simple for users to access, unlike many of our
competitors. By simply plugging in a connection
or accessing the network wirelessly, users are
able to open a web browser and enter their username
and password to quickly gain access to the Internet
without any other software or hardware modifications.
This means no recording information and no remembering
to put it back the way it was found when you are
done using a KooKu Hotspot.
KooKu uses standard 802.11x technology
to implement its Networks allowing business and
home users alike to use their same computer hardware
when accessing the Internet at one of our Hotspots.
By turning on the computer when plugged into the
wired access points or accessing the network wirelessly,
a user simply opens a web browser to access the
Internet at broadband speeds and make use of any
Internet capable applications including email,
messenger, VPN and browser-based access. KooKu
continues to advance its technology as well to
remain compliant with newly released industry
standards as well as remain backwards compatible
with existing technology.
KooKu has also worked with both
end-users and "hosts" alike to establish
the requirements for such services. As such KooKu
offers Email redirection through its own secure
SMTP server, allowing anyone to send emails from
their normal Email Package. Hosts are continuously
burdened with support issues from End Users who
are not WiFi enabled, KooKu's MicroAP allows instant
upgrade to WiFi with no additional drivers or
reconfiguration of the host device.
KooKu has developed a philosophy
of delivering a seamless solution to both end-users
and Hosts alike, each solution tailored to the
requirements of the environment it is to be used.
